Ronald
Background/History
Ronald is a figure within the GTA RP universe, primarily known for his prior military service alongside John Redmond and his later leadership within the Redmond Group’s paramilitary operations.
Background
Very little is documented about Ronald’s early life. His public record begins with his service in the United States Army, where he was assigned to the Chemical Corps, the branch specializing in chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear defense operations. During his time in the Chemical Corps, Ronald served alongside John Redmond, forming what would become a long-standing professional association.
Among those familiar with his service, Ronald was once described as “the greatest man God ever created,” a testament to his reputation within his unit. Specific details regarding his rank, commendations, or deployments remain unknown. At some point after his military career, Ronald joined the Redmond Group where he once again was reunited with John.
Events of the GTA RP
Seizing of the Grapseed Bunker (mid-2025)
In mid 2025, Ronald, alongside John Redmond and members of the Redmond Group militia, seized control of the Grapeseed Bunker after the leadership of the Alamo Hellraisers was disbanded. The takeover was described by those involved as ruthless. Ronald later claimed it took approximately five days to scrub the blood from the walls following the assault.
After securing the location in Grapeseed, the bunker was converted into the primary stronghold of the Redmond militia. The facility began serving both as a staging ground and as a manufacturing site for firearms, including assault rifles, RPGs, carbines, and pistols. Under Ronald’s oversight, weapons production increased significantly, strengthening the group’s position in Blaine County.
In February 2026, John departed for Namibia to negotiate for the release of his nephew Victor. During his absence, Ronald assumed the role of Director of Weapons & Militia, granting him operational control over the group’s armed forces and manufacturing activities.
Supply seizing (March 2026)
Later that month, Mátyás Redmond-Vizsla brought his cousin Jamie Evans to the bunker’s internal firing range for training. They returned three days later for additional practice. At that time, Ronald interrupted them and informed them that weapon manufacturing supplies had run dry. He stated that they would need to seize new materials from rivals operating at the harbor in Los Santos. Although reluctant, Mátyás agreed to assist, and Jamie accompanied them.
During the drive, Ronald recounted the violent takeover of the bunker in graphic detail, which visibly unsettled Jamie. He also directed misogynistic remarks toward her, claiming that he and his fellow millitia men would want to 'take her for a spin' and stating that she should be glad John was not present. He then asked for her name, revealing that he had not previously known it.
Upon arrival at the harbor, the group observed a Korean gang unloading weapon supplies from a ship. Ronald opened fire without hesitation, reportedly catching them by surprise. Witness accounts describe him smiling and laughing while shooting. The confrontation ended with the Redmond Group securing the supplies. They returned safely to the Grapeseed Bunker, allowing weapons production to resume.
