Chapter IV: The Changing Wind
The First Biker War
After weeks of being held captive and tortured, Marty Marcano returned to Los Santos. Even though the trauma still affected him, he quickly began rebuilding his life. His bar in Pillbox Hill, once a quiet place for small deals and music, was full of life again. That evening, Marty called Morgan, an old friend, to catch up over drinks. When Morgan arrived, something was off. He ordered a bourbon, sat down, and started talking about strange visions he had been seeing since trying a recent batch of acid. He kept seeing a man with a dirty, curly moustache and a crooked smile. He didn’t know who the man was but said he always showed up in places connected to violence. This man was Ron Milliken, but nobody knew that yet.
Marty brushed it off at first, thinking Morgan was just paranoid from the drugs. Later that day, Marty told Morgan he had to pick up a friend from the airport and asked him to come along. They took Marty’s new Moonbeam Custom van, a brownish party van with top-tier speakers and neon lights. As they cruised down the highway, the van bumped with heavy bass—Marty was clearly back in business.
At the airport, the friend turned out to be Damian Morrison. Marty waved him over and the two hugged. Damian, calm but still carrying his past, got into the van. Morgan nodded in greeting. They drove back to the bar, sharing stories and laughs. Damian didn’t say much, but he listened closely. He later said he was moving back into his old apartment on South Bay City Avenue. Marty understood that Damian needed space, but knew things in Los Santos were about to change.
The next morning, the three of them sat in a booth at the bar, drinking coffee instead of alcohol. Damian talked about his time in Vice City and how the space gave him time to think. “I came back,” he said, “because my story wasn’t finished.” Morgan kept drifting in and out, still talking about his visions. Neither Marty nor Damian fully believed him, but they didn’t ignore him either. Marty then took them outside to show off his mobile acid lab—his so-called "construction van." He explained how he and Morgan had taken over the acid market using it, selling across Blaine County and parts of Los Santos. Damian was impressed. Even Morgan smiled, though he still seemed distant.
On a whim, they decided to drive to the Yellowjack Bar. Marty drove, Damian sat in the passenger seat, and Morgan relaxed in the back on top of a crate of product. But before they finished their first drink, Morgan froze. He turned pale and ran outside without saying a word. Marty and Damian followed him. Outside, they found Morgan talking to no one. “He’s here,” he said. “He’s right here. Don’t you see him?” Marty tried to calm him down. Damian told him to relax. But then they heard footsteps—crunching gravel. Merryweather soldiers came out of the trees, armed and ready.
A gunfight broke out behind the Yellowjack. Marty and Damian fired back, while Morgan hid behind the van, clutching his head. Eventually, the mercenaries retreated. The group jumped into the Moonbeam and headed back toward the city. But more Merryweather vehicles chased them on the highway. Damian shot from the back while Marty swerved through traffic.
They finally lost them by hiding in the tunnels under La Mesa. There, Morgan broke down. “I didn’t sign up for this!” he yelled. “Acid labs, ghosts, and mercenaries?! I’m done!” Marty tried to explain, but Morgan didn’t listen. A week later, Marty got a surprise call from Billy McBardigael. Billy had returned under strange circumstances and now worked out of an office at the Arcadius Business Center. Marty brought Morgan and Damian with him to the meeting. Billy, looking younger than before, stood to greet Marty. It was their first time seeing each other since Billy came back. They shared a quick, awkward hug.
Billy looked at Morgan dead in the eyes. Billy did not like the vibe of Morgan and proceeded to insult him. Morgan stayed quiet, lost in his own world. Billy then looked at Damian but didn’t say much. Damian, sensing the tension, left shortly after. Billy didn’t share much information, but his presence reminded Marty that old stories weren’t over. On May 3rd, Marty got a call from Damian in the middle of the night. Damian asked to come by the bar. When he arrived, he said he needed help moving his things to Paleto Bay. By sunrise, they were packing up Damian’s stuff into Marty’s van.
During the drive, Damian opened. He said Vice City gave him space to think, but he kept coming back to Los Santos. “It’s not finished,” he said. “My story. The mess we started.” He mentioned that with Edward gone, the city was without control. He didn’t want to rule but wanted to build something different—a safe place, not a gang.
When they reached Paleto Bay, they stopped at the Bay Rebels bar. Sindy, the ex-wife of Uncle Dave and Captain Cash, was still running the place and welcomed Damian back. Just then, a man with long hair and a goatee stepped out of a vehicle. He introduced himself as Arthur Percy and asked if the bar was open. Damian let him in. Inside, the three of them toasted to the bar’s reopening.
In the meeting room, Arthur said he used to be Claymore’s mechanic and had crossed paths with the Bay Rebels. Damian told him he used to lead the Bay Rebels and that the bad blood was over. They shook hands and agreed to stay out of each other’s way.
After the meeting, Marty pulled Arthur aside and asked if he wanted to learn the acid business. Arthur agreed. Later, Arthur went to the new bar owned by Black Shuck MC and talked to Tyler Nelson, the Vice President. Arthur told him about Damian and Marty. Tyler said they could work with Damian but needed to keep an eye on Marty’s acid trade. In the days that followed, Marty showed Arthur the full acid setup—how the lab worked, where the supplies came from, and how he used to run the business with Morgan. Marty offered Arthur a role in rebuilding the acid empire. Arthur didn’t say yes or no but kept taking notes.
Eventually, after a few weeks, they met with Marty and told him that the cooperation was off. They had decided to run the acid business on their own and basically pushed Marty out of the game, as Black Shuck could protect their deliveries better than Marty and had more men to sell acid. After Black Shuck MC cut Marty out of the acid business he had built, the loss hit him harder than he expected. The acid operation had been his attempt at rebuilding control after captivity, torture, and humiliation. Being pushed aside and outmatched in manpower and protection left him furious and sad. With nowhere else to turn, Marty went to girlfriend Alexa.
Alexa listened to Marty’s plea for revenge. Wanting to assess the situation herself, she drove Marty and herself to the Black Shuck MC clubhouse under the pretense of mediation. Alexa urged Marty to confront Black Shuck with what happened. However, when Alexa got out of her car Marty got scared and drove away, leaving Alexa standing in front of the clubhouse. At the last second, Marty away from the property and drove him alone back into the city,
Days later, Alexa took a more direct approach. She arranged a meeting with Arthur Percy, persuading him to step into one of her company vehicles under the guise of business. During the drive, Alexa recognized Arthur’s growing influence and raw potential in Los Santos. The two spoke openly about their pasts, their ambitions, and the instability spreading through the city. By the time the ride ended, they exchanged phone numbers and discussed the possibility of a future alliance.
Around the same time, a mechanic named Joey Hunt settled in Strawberry. One night, he was attacked by gang members from Strawberry. Rather than retaliate alone, Joey approached Black Shuck MC for help. Arthur and Tyler Nelson brought him to the clubhouse, where Tyler led a sort of interrogation. Joey claimed he was former Navy SEALs and that he had successfully fought off the attackers. Arthur doubted his story, however Tyler insisted they helped a fellow businessman. Joey asked Black Shuck to take revenge on the gang members that attacked his auto shop. Black Shuck MC agreed.
The retaliation against the Rancho gang was swift and successful. Afterward, phone numbers were exchanged, and Joey slowly began integrating himself into Black Shuck’s orbit. Over the following weeks, trust grew, carefully, but steadily. Eventually, Joey proposed something far more ambitious: a robbery of the Union Depository. Arthur, already seeing the dollar signs and the expansion opportunity agreed to Joey proposal.
Preparation took weeks. Joey handled most of the planning and prepping, with Black Shuck assisting only where necessary. When the robbery finally happened, it succeeded successfully. An estimated $15,000,000 was stolen. Joey took $10,000,000, with the rest divided among Black Shuck MC. The heist made national news, drawing the attention of criminals and law enforcement alike. Flush with cash, Black Shuck MC expanded quickly. They opened a cocaine lockup and a counterfeit-cash factory at Edward’s old business locations cementing their position at the Los Santos docks. However, their archenemies: the Hellraisers still bothered them. Arthur, with their new power discussed with Tyler to scout Hellraisers operation and eventually eradicate them.
Arthur Percy and Tyler Nelson began scouting Hellraiser operations near the Alamo Sea. What they found shocked them: a heavily armed operation guarded by men wielding miniguns. Rather than retreat, they struck. The operation was destroyed, significantly weakening the Hellraisers. The response was brutal. The Hellraisers retaliated by attacking Black Shuck’s territory, killing civilians and searching for Arthur and Tyler. They found neither. The violence escalated into open war. This would be known as The First Biker War.
Seeking revenge, Tyler later scouted Hellraiser activity in Grapeseed. Hours passed without word. Then Arthur received a call from an unknown number. On the line was Aiden, who informed him that Tyler had been kidnapped. Aiden demanded a meeting at McKenzie Airfield. Arthur arrived at night with several bikers. Aiden arrived with even more. The confrontation was tense. Aiden demanded that Black Shuck MC disband and that Arthur “run back to Edward.” Arthur refused. Aiden answered by shooting Tyler in the stomach.
A firefight erupted at the hangar. Aiden escaped with some of his men. Tyler bled out and died from his injuries. Two days later, he was buried beneath the letter N of the Vinewood sign, laid to rest in a black casket. Tyler’s death changed everything. Arthur knew he could not survive in Los Santos alone.
He went to Joey Hunt, who had recently purchased Jim’s former nightclub, The Palace. There, Arthur and Joey were joined by Giuseppe Marcano, who expressed interest in speaking privately. In Joey’s office, Giuseppe explained the history of the old Big Four and argued that Los Santos required a new one for stability. Arthur and Joey agreed, however Giuseppe’s advice was clear: Alexa had to be involved in the alliance, or it would fail.
A few days later, Arthur called Alexa. She proposed a meeting at the Kortz Center. Unbeknownst to her, Arthur also invited Joey. At the meeting, Alexa confronted Arthur about Joey’s presence. Arthur explained that the Hellraisers had killed Tyler and that he needed her help to eliminate their leadership. Alexa revealed she had a non-aggression pact with the Hellraisers and hesitated to break it. Joey reminded her of Arthur’s financial value. Reluctantly, Alexa agreed on the condition that she remained cautious of Joey’s intentions.
Arthur also told her about Giuseppe’s proposal and Billy’s return from retirement. Alexa, knowing she would eventually need strong partners for her own long-term plans, agreed to the formation of a new Big Three, but only after the Hellraisers were dealt with. The next morning, the four met in Alexa’s office at Maze Bank Tower.
The plan was simple: eliminate Aiden, the de facto leader of the Hellraisers. Arthur insisted on doing it himself. The second discussion concerned the new Big Four. Billy demanded trust and friendship. Alexa demanded no scheming or backstabbing. All agreed. After the meeting, Alexa privately interrogated Joey about his background and motives. His answers were vague, especially regarding his claimed SEALs history. Alexa remained unconvinced but allowed him to leave. Days later, Alexa and Arthur finalized the trap.
Alexa called Aiden in Arthur’s presence, proposing a meeting at the Paleto Bay lumberyard to discuss a three-party alliance involving the Bay Rebels. Aiden agreed and drove there immediately, calling Caroline along the way, unaware she was distracted and barely listening.At the lumberyard, Aiden sensed something was wrong. Damian was absent. Instead, Arthur waited at a distance with a sniper rifle. When Aiden realized the setup, he fled. A chase followed. Aiden crashed his vehicle into rocks. Arthur ended it. He shot Aiden point-blank. With Aiden’s death, the Alamo Hellraisers collapsed. The First Biker War was over.
The Last Paleto Crisis
Two weeks after Aiden Reed was killed by Arthur Percy, stability gradually returned to Blaine County. The Alamo Hellraisers fractured in the aftermath. A portion of their members integrated into Black Shuck MC, while others fled or attempted to keep the Alamo Hellraisers alive in a diminished and increasingly disorganized state.
Marty Marcano travelled to Paleto Bay to seek Damian Morrison’s assistance with a job proposed by Billy McBardigael. Damian, attempting to repair his strained relationship with Billy, agreed to participate. Marty and Damian met Billy aboard his submarine, which was stationed off the coast of Chumash.
Billy outlined the operation directly. He intended to smuggle narcotics onto Cayo Perico for El Rubio. Billy issued a clear warning to Damian, stating that if the drugs were stolen, he would personally bury Damian alive in concrete at one of his construction sites. Damian dismissed the threat and accepted Billy’s offer, agreeing to assist with the smuggling operation.
Damian suggested that Arthur Percy be included to provide additional manpower. Billy reluctantly agreed. The group travelled to Arthur’s clubhouse, where Billy met him for the first time. Billy openly expressed his disdain, calling Arthur a fool and referring to Arthur as a poor imitation of Edward McHaggis. Despite his reservations, Billy allowed Arthur to join. Marty, Damian, Arthur, and Billy then departed together for Cayo Perico in the Caribbean.
The drug delivery was completed successfully, with the narcotics handed directly to El Rubio. Following the transaction, the group was invited to attend a private beach party on the island.
During the event, Billy received urgent news regarding an emergency at one of his construction sites in Los Santos and was forced to return immediately. In Billy’s absence, Marty became involved with one of the women at the party and later slept with her on the beach at night. Damian and Arthur remained detached from the festivities, using the time to discuss business matters instead.
Unbeknownst to Marty, one of Alexa Morrison’s informants stationed on Cayo Perico identified Marty, Damian, and Arthur and immediately relayed the information to Alexa. After the party concluded, Marty, Damian, and Arthur departed Cayo Perico and returned to Los Santos International Airport. Upon landing the following day, the three separated and went their own ways.
Marty proceeded directly to the Diamond Casino penthouse to meet Alexa. At the penthouse, Alexa was visibly displeased by Marty’s presence. She confronted Marty with what she knew about Cayo Perico and his actions there. Alexa ended their relationship without negotiation. Marty attempted to justify himself and salvage the relationship, but Alexa refused to listen. She warned Marty to stay away from her business interests and explicitly forbade him from working with Damian Morrison in any capacity. She then instructed her security team to aggressively remove Marty from the penthouse. As he was dragged out, Alexa looked Marty dead in the eyes remained behind, drinking vodka and smirking as Marty was dragged away.
In early November, Edward returned to San Andreas after the collapse of his independent state in Scotland. His attempt to establish control of Scotland initially ended in a success with Edward crowning himself Edward I of Scotland during what is now called the Second Scottish Revolution. However, after a couple of months, Scotland was defeated after intervention by UK and NATO forces, forcing Edward to flee Scotland and return to San Andreas.
Upon arriving in Los Santos, Edward’s first action was to meet with Arthur Percy, who had emerged as one of the new members of the Big Three. The two reached a mutual understanding. Arthur retained direct control over his motor club, while Edward assumed Arthur’s seat at the Big Three table. This arrangement effectively split power between them, preventing internal conflict and establishing a unified two-man bloc controlling the southern part of the city.
In early December of 2025, Damian’s Russian cousin Alexei returned to Los Santos after fleeing the Russian regime. Damian welcomed Alexei at the Bay Bar, offering him a drink as the two reconnected. They spoke at length about everything that had transpired during their time apart. Damian expressed genuine relief at Alexei’s return and made it clear that he intended to support his cousin and involve him in his operations going forward.
During their conversation, Damian revealed that he had been planning a major operation: a Diamond Casino heist. He described it as one final score, intended not only for profit but to send a clear message to the syndicates operating in Los Santos. Damian proposed that Alexei take part in the heist alongside him.
Several days later, Joey Hunt, a member of the syndicates, arrived at the Bay Bar to meet with Damian, Alexei, and the Bay Rebels. Joey delivered a warning: they were on borrowed time, and the Big Three (specially Alexa) were preparing to make a move to eliminate them. He explained that he had begun to distance himself from the syndicates and offered to help the Bay Rebels buy time.
Joey elaborated on his past, stating that during his time working under Jim, he had strongly disapproved of Damian’s torture prior. He believed Damian had been treated unfairly and had taken the worst of the consequences. Joey saw an opportunity in aligning with Damian and considered this a chance to correct past wrongs and to make money off the situation.
Damian then shared details of the planned Diamond Casino heist with Joey. Intrigued, Joey offered his assistance, framing it as repayment for the time he was helping them secure. Alexei expressed clear opposition to involving Joey in the plan, questioning his loyalty and motives. Despite this, Damian insisted on Joey’s inclusion, arguing that they needed allies and that Joey was their only viable option at the time.
To secure funding for the heist, Joey insisted that they address the increasing cartel activity centered around the Clucking Bell factory, which had begun to interfere with Bay Rebels operations. Damian agreed to the proposal. Over the course of two days, Damian, Alexei, and Joey conducted reconnaissance on the site before launching a coordinated assault. The operation resulted in the complete dismantling of the cartel presence at the factory.
Unbeknownst to Joey, this operation also served as a test orchestrated by Damian. He used the mission to evaluate Joey’s reliability and determine whether he could be trusted under pressure. Joey remained loyal throughout, proving himself in combat and decision-making. By the end of the operation, the Bay Rebels were confident that Joey was not going to betray them.
With both funding and trust established, Damian and Alexei brought Joey deeper into their plans and revealed the full outline of the Diamond Casino heist. Drawing from his background which was unbeknownst to Damian, Joey suggested that the operation be executed as a con rather than a direct assault. Alexei contributed by proposing entry through a maintenance access point, noting that his status as an immigrant would make the role more believable and less suspicious.
With all three in agreement on the approach, they began preparations by sourcing the necessary weapons and equipment for the job. Over the course of a few weeks, Damian, Alexei and Joey prepared for the heist, getting weapons, getaway vehicles and more. On the mask issue, they agreed that the theme for the masks would be fruit.
Damian Morrison, Alexei, and Joey Hunt successfully infiltrated the Diamond Casino, stole a large sum of cash, and escaped without being caught. The heist provided the Bay Rebels with much-needed funds before final Damian's departure from San Andreas.
Shortly after the heist, Marty Marcano visited Damian, inviting him to spend some time together before he left. Although Damian explained he was preparing to leave the state, Marty insisted on making the most of the remaining time and took him to the Vanilla Unicorn despite Damian's concerns about the risks. The two enjoyed one last night out before Marty drove Damian to the airport, where Alexei was waiting. Together, Damian and Alexei boarded a plane and departed for Vice City, leaving Paleto Bay behind.
Shadow from the Past
On 15th of February, far from the quiet tension of Paleto Bay. Marty Marcano, owner of the Darnell Brothers Factory, was working late when his operation was interrupted. A group of masked men forced their way inside, led by an older man named Samuel Redmond. Samuel Redmond was known as a former professor, who worked at the USLA and specialised in labor laws. Underneath the surface, Samuel was head of the Redmond Group, the unofficial successor to the M.A.N. Agency. Samuel laid out a series of accusations against Marty, including violations of labor laws, underpayment of Filipino workers and forcing them into harsh, exploitative conditions. Marty was trying to deny the accussations, but with the masked men surrounding him, he was unable to defend himself. Samuel presented Marty with a document to transfer the property and everything in it in exchange for avoiding exposure and legal ruin, Marty was threatened to sign over the Darnell Brothers Factory to the Redmond Group.
Marty immediately refused. This did not please Samuel, who ordered the masked men to raise their weapons and point it at Marty, forcing him to sign the contract. Under pressure, Marty signed the contract. After signing, Marty was immediately forced to leave his former factory. After leaving the property, Marty looked at the contract again and realised he also lost all his possessions that were located in the Darnell Brothers Factory, including his acid lab and cars. Desperate, Marty called Giuseppe Marcano and his ex Alexa, hoping for support or a way out of the situation. Giuseppe dismissed the situation outright, blaming Marty for his own stupidity and warning him against signing anything without thinking. Alexa was colder still, stating that their relationship was long over and that she wanted nothing to do with him anymore.
After the takeover, Samuel Redmond moved swiftly to consolidate his control. The factory’s operations were dismantled and demobilized, iMarty's former employees dismissed and the equipment, materials, and assets were seized and absorbed into the Redmond Group. After the successful operation, Samuel returned to his office at Arcadius Business Center to discuss the further development of the Redmond Group operation within Los Santos.
At the office. Samuel met with his adopted son, Mátyás Redmond-Vizsla. The two discussed the future of their covert ambitions. Samuel revealed his plan to return the Redmond Group to the forefront as a criminal superpower, like it was when the M.A.N. Agency ruled San Andreas, currently dominated by the Big Three.
Samuel proposed a covert approach. They would establish a network of legitimate nightclubs under a single brand: Galaxy. These venues would serve as both a public-facing enterprise and a strategic foothold, allowing them to undermine the influence of the Big Three who also had three nightclubs in their possession.
Mátyás would oversee the daily operations personally, operating under the alias Duncan Briar to maintain distance from the Redmond name. Together, they selected three key locations across Los Santos in La Mesa, Cypress Flats and West Vinewood, positioned deliberately to challenge Alexa’s Downtown Vinewood nightclub With the plan set in motion, Samuel arranged the necessary funding and bought the property locations for the nightclubs.
After the meeting, Samuel went home and told his wife Beth that the Redmond Group had bought multiple nightclub venues in Los Santos. Beth was happy for him, but her reaction quickly shifted. She brought up Jamie, their unofficial adopted daughter, and suggested that this could be an opportunity for her to work for Samuel.
Samuel immediately refused. He said he was done caring for her and paying for her future. This led to an argument between the two. Beth pushed back, insisting that Jamie deserved a chance. After going back and forth, Samuel eventually gave in. He promised Beth that he would involve Jamie in the business this one time, though he made it clear he saw it as a potential failure.
Setup of Nightclubs
A few days later, Jamie was at her home in Vespucci Canals, located at 0112 South Rockford Drive. She had just returned from work at Alpha Mail, where she worked as a forklift operator. Her house was small and run-down, matching the life she had been living. Not long after arriving home, she received a call from Mátyás. He told her he would be there in five minutes to pick her up for a job opportunity arranged by Samuel. Jamie agreed, though she wasn’t particularly excited about the idea of working for her “adopted father,” officially her uncle.
When Mátyás arrived, Jamie stepped into the car wearing an oversized hoodie and baggy jeans. They drove to the Arcadius Business Center. Upon arriving, Jamie walked into the office and immediately greeted Samuel as “Uncle Sam.” Samuel was clearly not pleased to see her again after a few months and quickly pointed out that she hadn’t changed.
Despite this, he offered her a job at one of his nightclub venues in La Mesa. After discussing the details, Samuel turned to Mátyás and told him to take Jamie to Ponsonbys. She needed proper business attire, something more suitable than her usual tomboyish look. Mátyás paid for the clothes, with the understanding that Jamie would pay him back once she received her first paycheck.
At the next meeting, Jamie arrived in her new clothes, which pleased Samuel. Just after arriving, Mátyás drove them to the nightclub to set the place up. This involved picking up the staff, getting the equipment, and securing the DJ, Solomun. After completing all the preparations, the nightclub was set up and operational. Samuel gave Jamie the job of taking care of the nightclub, maintaining its popularity by helping around and promoting the club by spreading flyers.
Nightclub Setup and Mansion Party
Over the course of the week, Mátyás set up the nightclub in West Vinewood to immediately rival Alexa's nightclub in Downtown Vinewood, Maisonette Los Santos. After the setup, Samuel visited the nightclub and the office to find Mátyás and Jamie. Jamie was drunk and made a few remarks that made Mátyás look bad in front of Samuel. Samuel wasn't happy about the fact that Jamie wasn't taking care of the La Mesa nightclub, but decided to give her more time. After Samuel left, Mátyás dragged Jamie into his car and drove deep into Blaine County near the lighthouse at the coast. There, Mátyás pulled a gun on Jamie's head, threatening to kill her if she ever made him look bad in front of Samuel again. Jamie apologized, and Mátyás drove her home, while she remained quiet for the entire ride.
In the following weeks, the Big Three began to notice new competition emerging in the nightclub scene. Alexa grew curious and decided to visit Galaxy in West Vinewood. Upon arrival, she requested to speak with the owner. Mátyás, operating under the alias Duncan Briar, introduced himself. Alexa and Duncan exchanged phone numbers and after a good conversation Alexa invited Duncan an invitation to an executive party for clientele at her mansion in Vinewood Hills. Duncan accepted. After the visit, Alexa contacted Joey to discuss the situation while Mátyás discussed the opportunity with Samuel.
When the night of the party arrived, Duncan showed up at Alexa’s mansion. Alexa, wearing a gold dress, greeted him personally and gave him a tour of the property. During the tour, Mátyás noticed a map displaying multiple business locations marked by green indicators, with no further details provided. Recognizing its potential value, he discreetly took a photo and sent it to Samuel. Alexa then guided Duncan to the party area of the mansion, where he enjoyed a drink among the guests. After Alexa moved upstairs to speak with her own clients, Mátyás walked around the basement levels to further scout for intel. However to his disappointment, he was unable to access the vaults or any other rooms that were guarded by Alexa's security, so he made his way upstairs. A few days after the meeting at the mansion, Mátyás, still operating under the alias Duncan Briar, contacted Joey Hunt to arrange a private business meeting. Both men agreed that neither side should control the environment in the event negotiations deteriorated, leading them to select the rooftop of the LS Car Meet as neutral ground.
Before the meeting, Samuel Redmond briefed Mátyás on how to proceed. Samuel believed the deception surrounding Duncan Briar had served its purpose and instructed Mátyás to reveal both his true identity and Samuel's involvement to Joey. The decision was a calculated risk. Samuel viewed Alexa Morrison as the Redmond Group's primary obstacle in Los Santos and believed that recruiting one of her closest associates would significantly weaken her organization from within.
When Joey arrived at the rooftop, he found Mátyás waiting alongside Samuel Redmond. The location showed signs of a recent violent confrontation, with blood stains across the concrete and walls, suggesting the area had recently been cleared of unwanted visitors. After confirming they were alone, Mátyás introduced himself by his real name and explained that Duncan Briar had only been an alias used to infiltrate the city's nightclub industry.
Samuel then outlined the history between the Redmond and Morrison families. He explained that his rivalry with Alexa extended back to her father, describing the Morrisons as longstanding adversaries of the organization that had once operated as the M.A.N. Agency. Samuel argued that Alexa had become an increasingly disruptive figure within the Los Santos underworld and presented the Redmond Group as a more disciplined and stable alternative capable of reshaping the city's criminal landscape.
Joey listened to their proposal but questioned what he would gain from assisting them. Samuel responded by revealing that Alexa maintained several warehouses throughout La Mesa and Cypress Flats, only a short distance from the meeting location. Intelligence suggested the facilities contained a shipment of cargo with an estimated street value of approximately $20 million. Samuel proposed using Joey's knowledge of Alexa's operations to identify the correct warehouse, bypass security procedures, and steal the shipment before it could be distributed.
In return, Joey demanded half of the proceeds from the operation. Samuel accepted the terms without negotiation, considering the potential intelligence and long-term strategic value greater than the financial loss. The two parties agreed to cooperate on the planned warehouse robbery, establishing the first formal partnership between Joey Hunt and the Redmond Group.

On the other hand, Hans would treat Victor like an enemy, giving him unethical dilemmas and making Victor do unspeakable things in order to mentally traumatize him for Hans's own pleasure.
Samuel had assigned his eldest son, John Redmond, to travel to Namibia and negotiate Victor's release. Despite months of discussions, little progress had been made. Hans remained unwilling to release Victor under conventional terms and instead presented a single condition. If Samuel wanted his grandson returned, he would have to provide someone of equal value in exchange.
Samuel revealed that he had begun considering Jamie as the proposed exchange. He argued that Victor possessed greater potential and had become increasingly valuable due to the skills Hans had been teaching him. By comparison, Samuel viewed Jamie as an ineffective employee who had failed to meet his expectations since joining the Redmond Group. The two then traveled north to Grapeseed, where the Redmond family maintained an underground bunker overseen by John Redmond. Rather than revealing the site's true purpose, Mátyás described it as a storage facility belonging to the organization.
Inside the bunker, they were greeted by Ronald, who was serving as the Redmond Group's temporary Director of Weapons and Militia while John remained abroad negotiating Victor Donovan's release. After informing Ronald that he intended to train Jamie at the facility's indoor shooting range, the three briefly discussed the day's activities before Ronald allowed them to proceed.
Over the following hours, Mátyás introduced Jamie to the safe handling and operation of pistols and other small firearms. The session focused on basic marksmanship and weapon familiarity. Although Jamie had no previous experience with firearms, she gradually became more comfortable handling them under Mátyás' supervision. As the two prepared to leave, Ronald made several misogynistic remarks about Jamie after she had already walked out of earshot. Mátyás ignored the comments and departed with her.
Three days later, the pair returned to Grapeseed to continue Jamie's training. Shortly after they arrived, Ronald interrupted the session and informed them that the bunker had exhausted its remaining supply of weapon components. With John still absent from San Andreas, Ronald insisted that new supplies had to be obtained immediately in order to keep production operating. Referring to the task as an opportunity for "target practice," he instructed Mátyás and Jamie to accompany him.
The three departed the bunker in a heavily armored vehicle. During the journey, Ronald disclosed the true purpose of the underground complex, explaining that it served as one of the Redmond Group's weapons manufacturing facilities rather than a storage site. He also recounted how the bunker had previously belonged to the Alamo Hellraisers before being seized by the Redmond family during a violent takeover, describing the executions that followed the operation. Ronald further explained that he had served alongside John Redmond in the Chemicals Corps during the war in Afghanistan before later joining the Redmond Group. The stories of military service and the violent seizure of the bunker left Jamie increasingly unsettled.
As the journey continued, Ronald directed additional misogynistic remarks toward Jamie, making inappropriate comments about how members of his militia viewed her. Mátyás immediately intervened, ordering Ronald to stop and making it clear that such remarks would not be tolerated. Although Ronald ceased the discussion, tension remained between the two men for the remainder of the trip.
The group eventually arrived at the Port of Los Santos, where a cargo vessel carrying weapon components was being unloaded by members of a Korean criminal organization. Ronald and Mátyás launched an assault to seize the shipment while Jamie initially hesitated to become involved. During the confrontation, she fired her weapon for the first time outside the training range, striking one of the armed men before Mátyás neutralized the threat. With the resistance overcome, the Redmonds secured the shipment of weapon parts and transported it back to the Grapeseed bunker.
Although the operation successfully replenished the facility's supplies, the events left a lasting impression on Jamie. What had begun as firearms training had escalated into her first exposure to one of the Redmond Group's armed operations. For the first time, she fully realized that the Redmond Group was not simply a family-run business with legitimate enterprises, but a highly organized and violent criminal organization whose operations extended far beyond the nightclub industry. The experience fundamentally changed her perception of the organization, while Mátyás became increasingly determined to shield her from figures such as Ronald and the more ruthless elements of the Redmond Group.
The Big Three Meeting
Around the same time, a meeting was held between the leaders of the Big Three at Edward McHaggis' office. Present were Alexa Morrison, Edward McHaggis, and Joey Hunt. During the meeting, Joey disclosed his recent contact with Duncan Briar and Samuel Redmond, informing the others that the pair had approached him with a proposal to undermine Alexa's organization. Although Joey did not reveal that Duncan Briar was in fact Mátyás Redmond-Vizsla operating under an alias, he explained that the Redmond Group intended to establish itself as the dominant criminal syndicate in Los Santos by dismantling Alexa's influence.
Joey summarised the meeting by explaining the ambition of the Redmond Group to replace the Big Three as the city's leading criminal power, without revealing the plans about the cargo theft. He also briefly recounted the longstanding rivalry between Samuel Redmond and the Morrison family, explaining that the conflict predated Alexa's leadership.
Alexa acknowledged that she had heard the Redmond name before but admitted she had little knowledge of the history between the two families. Regardless of the details, she recognized the significance of the situation. Unlike previous rivals, the Redmond Group had openly declared its intention to challenge her organization, making it the first syndicate in Los Santos to directly position itself against the Big Three.
Joey proposed continuing contact with the Redmonds in order to deepen their trust before ultimately betraying them at a more advantageous moment. He argued that maintaining the appearance of cooperation would provide valuable intelligence on the organization's structure, personnel, and future operations. Alexa viewed the proposal as a practical method of gathering information while preventing the Redmond Group from realizing that its plans had already been exposed.
After the meeting concluded, Joey remained behind to speak privately with Edward. Joey suggested that the unfolding conflict presented an opportunity to profit regardless of the outcome, provided they managed their relationships with both sides carefully. Edward, however, interpreted the situation differently. Although publicly regarded as one of the Big Three alongside Alexa, he had long operated in her shadow despite leading an organization of comparable size. Previous business dealings had left him with lingering resentment toward Alexa, and the emergence of the Redmond Group presented an alternative that had not previously existed. Rather than viewing the Redmonds solely as enemies, Edward began considering whether a temporary alliance with Samuel Redmond could be used to remove Alexa from power. Tailing of Alexa
Following the heated meeting, Matyas concluded that the lack of results had slowed the investigation. Jamie had also not yet been paid for her involvement, which further pushed him to provide her with another opportunity. After the shooting practice and the cargo ship incident, Matyas arranged a different assignment for her.
A few days after the cargo ship situation, Matyas met Jamie at her apartment. He informed her that the job required her to follow a specific individual: Alexa Morrison. Jamie initially knew Alexa as a well-known Lifeinvader celebrity, unaware that her importance extended beyond her public image. Jamie prepared for the assignment by wearing a large hoodie, simple jeans, and sneakers in order to avoid drawing attention. Matyas provided her with an earpiece equipped with a microphone and tracker, allowing him to communicate with her and monitor her location. Jamie drove a Sentinel XS that she had previously received from Matyas and Samuel, while Matyas followed at a distance in a Dewbauchee Specter to observe the surrounding area.
Jamie located Alexa while she was being transported in an Enus Jubilee. She followed the vehicle through the city until Alexa arrived at Bob Mulét. Jamie entered the barbershop and pretended to be a customer waiting for her turn. After Alexa finished her appointment, she left the shop and was driven toward the nightclub. During the drive, Alexa’s driver noticed the Sentinel XS following them. The Jubilee accelerated and turned into an alleyway in an attempt to lose Jamie. Jamie followed, but eventually lost visual contact with the vehicle. Due to the speed of the pursuit, Matyas was unable to continue following without risking exposure and instead tracked Jamie’s location through the device he had given her.
After losing Alexa, Jamie decided to return toward Rockford Hills. However, the Jubilee reappeared and ambushed her. Jamie attempted to drive into Vinewood Hills, but she was eventually blocked and stopped in an affluent neighborhood by three armed guards and Alexa herself. The group pressured Jamie into entering the armored SUV. Alexa and her guards transported Jamie to Arthur’s Pass Trails in Great Chaparral. Matyas, still connected through Jamie’s earpiece, followed the SUV discreetly and positioned himself on a nearby hill with a sniper rifle.
At Arthur’s Pass Trails, Alexa and her guards interrogated Jamie. A weapon was aimed at her while Alexa questioned who she was working for. Jamie first claimed that she was a fan, then said she worked for the press. Alexa rejected both explanations and continued pressing her for the truth. Through the earpiece, Matyas instructed Jamie to name Joey Hunt. Jamie repeated the name, but Alexa did not accept the answer and asked who Joey Hunt was. Jamie was unable to provide a convincing explanation. Under further pressure, Jamie then named Duncan Briar. Alexa recognized him as a nightclub owner and accepted the possibility that he was involved.
Alexa then asked what Jamie knew about Duncan. With the interrogation escalating, Jamie revealed information about the bunker in Grapeseed. Matyas immediately responded through the earpiece, stating that Jamie had compromised his cover. Satisfied with the information, Alexa ordered Jamie to provide her phone number in case she needed to contact her again. Alexa and her guards then left the area, leaving Jamie behind.
After the vehicles departed, Matyas came down from the hill. He did not openly confront Jamie, but his silence and manner made his disappointment clear. He told her to get into the car, and the two left Arthur’s Pass Trails. During the drive back, Jamie remained silent. Matyas eventually dropped her off, and the failed surveillance assignment left further consequences for both Jamie and the wider investigation into Alexa Morrison.
