Jeffrey James Cooper, more commonly known as Jeffrey, is a minor character and former prospect of Claymore MC. He was born on May 5, 2000, in San Fierro to a middle class family. His father led a small but reputable investment bureau, and Jeffrey was raised in a financially stable and structured household. Most of his early life took place in San Fierro.

Early life (2000 - 2019)

During his childhood, Jeffrey met Archie Calloway, who lived nearby. The two quickly became best friends and remained close throughout their teenage years. While Archie gravitated toward discipline and public service, Jeffrey showed early interest in business, finance, and mechanics.

At sixteen years old, Jeffrey temporarilly moved to Los Santos to study economics at the University of San Andreas where he was taught by Samuel Redmond. His academic performance was solid, though not exceptional, and he maintained steady contact with Archie during this period.

Early Career (2019 - 2024)

When Jeffrey finished his education, he moved back to San Fierro and began working for his father’s investment bureau as a financial advisor. The position was largely facilitated by family connections, but Jeffrey proved capable in handling clients and financial portfolios.

At twenty years old, a large fraud case within the company came to light. Though Jeffrey was not directly responsible, the scandal severely damaged the bureau’s reputation. The firm collapsed under investigation and public scrutiny. As a result, Jeffrey lost his position and found his name indirectly associated with the controversy, effectively ruining his early career prospects in the financial sector.

Following the collapse, Jeffrey took whatever work he could find. He worked as a gardener, performed car repairs, and drove taxis to maintain financial stability. During this period, he relied heavily on practical skills rather than academic credentials.

Around this time, Jeffrey's father was diagnosed with testicular cancer. Although his father ultimately recovered, the medical treatment resulted in bills totaling approximately $300.000. The financial burden placed additional pressure on Jeffrey to secure higher income.

Events of the GTA RP

Investigation into Archie's death (mid-2024)

When Jeffrey was 24 years old, traveled to Los Santos to search for answers about Archie Calloway’s death. By that time, Archie had already risen quickly within the Blaine County Sheriff’s Department after helping Sergeant Ron Milliken conclude the Los Santos Slasher case. Public reports described Archie as a decorated young sergeant who was killed in a gang related explosion near the Yellowjack Inn alongside Ron.

Jeffrey did not accept the official narrative. He learned that shortly before his death, Archie had been involved in the arrest of Marty Marcano, who was later released without charges under questionable circumstances. Jeffrey also heard rumors that Archie and Ron had been investigating organized crime activity connected to Paleto Bay and Los Santos, and that the Sheriff’s Department itself was suspected of internal corruption.

During his time in Los Santos and Blaine County, Jeffrey attempted to speak with former colleagues of Archie, visited Sandy Shores, and made informal inquiries about the events leading up to the car explosion. Every lead either ended in silence or in warnings to stop asking questions. No official investigation produced alternative findings, and no one was held accountable. As the wages were higher in Los Santos, Jeffrey did not return to San Fierro but instead went to seek work in Los Santos.

Entry into Claymore MC (end-2024)

While attending the Los Santos Car Meet in Cypress Flats, Jeffrey encountered Edward McHaggis and Billy McBardigael. Edward, at the time struggling with internal instability within Claymore MC, took interest in Jeffrey’s mechanical skill and work ethic. Billy also showed interest in Jeffrey and introduced him to additional operations connected to the club. Shortly afterward, a large scale munity happened at Claymore and a splinter faction named the Alamo Hellraisers defected from Claymore. Edward, seeking members offered Jeffrey a position in Claymore MC. Jeffrey accepted and was initiated as a prospect in Claymore MC.

His decision to join was not rooted in ambition or desire for power. Jeff never wanted to become a criminal. His involvement was driven entirely by financial desperation and the need to support his father’s mounting medical expenses. He viewed Claymore as a temporary solution rather than a permanent path.

Attack on Jeffrey

Around the time he joined the club, Jeff was assaulted with baseball bats and crowbars at the Premium Deluxe Motorsport dealership in Strawberry by members of the Alamo Hellraisers. The attackers were Aiden Reed and Caroline Roberts. The confrontation left Jeff injured and requiring medical treatment.

Edward covered the full cost of Jeff’s medical bills without hesitation. While the gesture appeared generous, it created a financial and personal obligation. Jeff understood that he was now indebted to Edward. During his time as a prospect, Jeff participated in logistical work, vehicle preparation, and minor enforcement tasks, though he remained internally conflicted about his role in the organization.

Assassination of Jack

Following escalating tensions between Claymore MC and a defecting faction that later formed the Alamo Hellraisers, Jeff was tasked with eliminating Jack, a former Claymore member who had defected. The assignment was not presented as optional. Edward reminded Jeff of the medical expenses he had covered and made it clear that repayment would come in the form of loyalty and action.

Before carrying out the assassination, Jeff spoke privately with Edward and made his position clear. He stated that once the job was completed, he wanted to leave Claymore MC and step away from the criminal world entirely. Edward accepted the request.

Jeffrey found Jack at the family restaurant named Hookies near the Great Ocean Highway. Jeffrey came up close to Jack and shot with a pistol that Edward gave him. The payment he received for the job was substantial and allowed him to significantly reduce the medical debt incurred by his father’s treatment. True to their agreement, Edward released him without conflict after the job was done.

After receiving payment and being released from Claymore MC, Jeff left Los Santos shortly afterward and returned to San Fierro. His departure marked the end of his involvement in Claymore MC and the broader criminal conflicts of Los Santos. What happened to Jeff afterward remains unknown. It is likely he attempted to rebuild a legitimate life in San Fierro, though no confirmed records detail his activities following his departure.
