Dr. Alexander Morrison, more commonly known as Alexander Morrison was an American economist, criminal executive, and organized crime figure based in Los Santos. He was the elder brother of Dave Morrison, the husband of Victorya Solovyova, and the father of twins Alexa Morrison and Damian Morrison.

Morrison served as a former board member of the M.A.N. Agency and was later the founder and chief executive officer of Morrison Exports that absorbed former Agency operations following its dissolution.

Early Life and Education

Alexander Morrison was born on March 27, 1968, in Los Santos. He was raised in a middle-class household that emphasized hard work, honesty, and self-reliance. For the first two years of his life, he was an only child. His younger brother, Dave Morrison, was born two years later.

Alexander attended school in Los Santos, where he performed at a high academic level. He graduated as valedictorian. He later enrolled in university to study economics and continued into postgraduate research, earning a PhD in Economics.

Academic Career

In 1994, at the age of 26, Alexander began his professional career in academia. He accepted a position at the University of San Andreas, Los Santos (ULSA), where he served as a lecturer and junior professor in economics.

At ULSA, Alexander taught courses in macroeconomics, market theory, and economic systems. He published multiple academic papers and developed a reputation for technical precision and structured analysis. During this period, he became professionally acquainted with Dr. Samuel Redmond, a fellow academic specializing in labor economics and labor law.

Alexander also applied economic models outside academic settings, using market asymmetries and predictive analysis to engage in personal financial activity. Although these actions remained within legal boundaries, they attracted ethical scrutiny among academic peers.

Involvement with the M.A.N. Agency

In 1995, Alexander was approached by senior leadership of the M.A.N. Agency following internal review of his academic work and financial behavior. The Agency identified his expertise in economic systems and market manipulation as suitable for organized criminal operations. The Agency offered Alexander a staggering offer which he accepted gratefully. Alexander quit his job as a professor and started working full-time for the M.A.N. Agency, his first steps into the criminal world.

At the time of Alexander's recruitment, Dr. Samuel Redmond was already an established asset within the M.A.N. Agency, operating in labor relations, union influence, and regulatory manipulation. Alexander was recruited to oversee capital flows, asset control, and financial structuring. Their roles were deliberately designed to overlap as a safeguard against internal consolidation of power.

Alexander was assigned to operations involving stock manipulation, asset laundering, price control, and the financial structuring of narcotics and contraband markets. His work contributed directly to increased Agency revenue. Through performance-based compensation and Agency-backed revenue streams, Alexander accumulated significant personal wealth during the late 1990s. With personal wealth, he bought multiple properties and small companies within Los Santos to increase power for himself and the M.A.N Agency.

1998 Vladivostok Operation

In 1998, the M.A.N. Agency authorized an economic operation in Vladivostok, Russia. The operation was led by Dr. Samuel Redmond and conducted in coordination with Grigory Venkov, the Agency’s primary regional contact. Alexander and two additional Agency associates participated in the economic operation in Russia.

The operation occurred during the post-Soviet privatization period. The Agency sought to exploit weakened regulatory oversight and rapid transfer of state-owned assets. Redmond handled labor-related negotiations, while Alexander and the other associates managed financial structuring, capital routing, and acquisition of undervalued assets.

Following completion of the operation, Redmond ordered the delegation to return to the United States. Alexander remained in Vladivostok for an additional night, against the instructions of Redmond.

Morrison’s failure to comply with Redmond’s directive resulted in internal disciplinary action. As a corrective measure, Agency leadership elevated Redmond to the governing board. The decision intensified a long-standing rivalry between the two men.

The night that Alexander stayed in Vladivostok, Morrison met Victorya Solovyova, who was engaged in sex work near the hideout of the Agency. The two converse and Alexander bought her services and spent the night in an abandoned motel. Afterwards, Alexander fell madly in love with Victorya and maintained contact with her after returning to the United States. He later arranged for her relocation to Los Santos against the wishes of the Agency.

Family Life

In mid-1999, Alexander decided to marry Victorya after she revealed she was pregnant. On January 18, 2001, two children were born: the twins Alexa Morrison and Damian Morrison. Immediately after the birth, Damian Morrison suffered a respiratory complication that required medical intervention. Alexander regarded this as a sign of weakness. He named his daughter Alexa after himself and named his son Damian with the intention that the name represent overcoming adversity. The family resided in a penthouse apartment at Eclipse Towers in West Vinewood.

From an young age, Alexander favored Alexa over Damian and invested more heavily in her education and development. His relationship with Damian remained distant and transactional. Around this period, Alexander partially reestablished contact with his brother Dave Morrison, who sought involvement in the lives of the children.

Board Membership and Consolidation of Power

Around 2001, Morrison was elevated to the governing board of the M.A.N. Agency. He participated in long-term strategic planning and financial oversight. By 2008, the M.A.N. Agency had eliminated its remaining rivals in the State of San Andreas and achieved dominance over the criminal underworld. During this period, the Agency entered into arrangements with Juan Sánchez, leader of the Sánchez Cartel. Sánchez’s sons, Pablo Sánchez and José Sánchez, were placed under Alexander's supervision for training. The relationship between Alexander and the Sánchez brothers was transactional and full of frustration. Alexander often mentioned that they 'lacked spirit' and that they were not a good fit for the Agency.

Dissolution of the M.A.N. Agency and Death

In early 2016, the M.A.N. Agency was formally disbanded after its two mysterious leaders invoked an internal dissolution article, leaving the organization without centralized leadership. The decision was not disclosed to the governing board or to the wider organizational structure.

The sudden dissolution resulted in widespread internal chaos. Most board members and senior operatives, including Alexander Morrison, departed the organization. At the same time, subordinate groups and affiliated factions that had previously paid tribute to the M.A.N. Agency began seizing assets and territory. Control over former Agency holdings fragmented rapidly. This period later became known as the Dissolution of the M.A.N. Agency.

At the time of the dissolution, Dr. Samuel Redmond was the most senior remaining member of the governing board. Although no formal succession occurred, Redmond was widely regarded within internal circles as the de facto and legitimate successor to the Agency’s leadership. The remaining loyalists of the M.A.N. Agency operated under Redmond’s authority and acted on his instructions.

After Redmond became aware that Alexander Morrison and other board members and senior operatives had fled the organization and were attempting to appropriate former Agency assets, he issued an unofficial internal order. Acting in his capacity as the recognized successor, Redmond ordered the elimination of unloyal and fleeing board members and operatives in order to reassert control and deter further defections. This directive functioned as the final unofficial order of the M.A.N. Agency. Redmond coordinated enforcement through remaining loyal contacts and external partners.

In the chaos following the dissolution, Alexander Morrison established a private company known as Morrison Exports, which absorbed former Agency operations in Vinewood and Rockford Hills. His expansion was perceived as an attempt to replace the Agency’s former dominance.

Pablo Sánchez and José Sánchez, acting on Redmond’s orders and supported by elements of the Sánchez Cartel, were tasked with eliminating Morrison. In mid-2016, while alone in his residence at Eclipse Towers, Morrison was ambushed by members of the Sánchez Cartel. He was subdued, taken to the rooftop, and executed by hanging. The pink finger of his left hand was severed. This event later became known as the Assassination of Alexander Morrison.

Morrison’s death ended his involvement in organized crime. Following his death, Dr. Samuel Redmond and the remaining loyalists of the former M.A.N. Agency ceased overt operations and later established discreet activities in La Mesa and Cypress Flats. Their presence would only be revealed in early 2026.

Personality and Legacy

Alexander Morrison was characterized by discipline, control, and a transactional view of personal and professional relationships. He valued hierarchy, efficiency, and measurable success, and demonstrated limited tolerance for perceived weakness or disorder. His actions consistently reflected a belief in merit defined by outcome rather than intention.

Morally, Morrison operated according to utilitarian principles shaped by self-interest and power preservation. He displayed little regard for legal or ethical constraints when they conflicted with strategic advantage. Within both family and criminal structures, authority and loyalty were prioritized over empathy or equality.

Following his death, Alexander Morrison was cremated. The majority of his personal estate and financial holdings were inherited by his daughter, Alexa Morrison. This distribution became a source of long-term tension between Alexa and Damian Morrison and contributed to later friction between the twins.

Morrison exerted a significant influence on the personal development of both of his children. Alexa inherited his work ethic, strategic mindset, business orientation, and pragmatism. Damian inherited Morrison’s intensity, emotional depth, and capacity for attachment, though without his father’s approval. Morrison also exerted a lesser but notable influence on his brother Dave Morrison, particularly in matters of responsibility and family obligation.

Morrison’s death marked a decisive turning point for his family. For Alexa Morrison, it served as the catalyst for her entry into the criminal world and the beginning of her pursuit of retribution. For Damian Morrison, it reinforced long-standing resentment and emotional distance. Morrison’s rise, governance, and death continue to shape the trajectories of those connected to him, establishing his legacy as both foundational and destructive.
