Jamie Evans was born in 2006 to Monica Evans, the younger sister of Beth Redmond. Monica worked as a prostitute and lived a financially unstable life, surviving largely on short-term arrangements and fleeting encounters. Jamie’s biological father was Dave Morrison, who had taken Monica on what was effectively a one-way trip and never maintained contact with her afterward, never even knowing she had become pregnant. When Monica discovered she was expecting, she chose the name "Jamie" early in the pregnancy, convinced she was carrying a boy.

Due to a lack of money and limited access to proper medical care, Monica never attended hospital check-ups and received minimal prenatal support. When she went into labor unexpectedly, she was rushed to the Central Los Santos Medical Center in critical condition. She never learned the gender of the baby before complications claimed her life shortly after giving birth. The child she had believed to be a son was a daughter.

Monica’s death left the newborn alone in the hospital without a legal guardian present. Upon receiving news of her sister’s passing, Beth was devastated. Out of love, guilt, and respect for Monica’s final wish to be a mother, Beth took it upon herself to raise the child as family. Beth honored Monica’s chosen name for the child, and ensured that Jamie would not grow up abandoned.

Beth Redmond insisted on raising Jamie as her own child within the Redmond household. Her husband, Samuel Redmond refused, arguing that they were both too old to raise another child Beth, however, refused to allow her niece to enter the foster system, which carried a reputation for neglect and instability. The disagreement escalated into a serious domestic conflict, placing strain on their marriage. Beth ultimately threatened divorce if Samuel did not agree to take Jamie in. Faced with the ultimatum, Samuel conceded, but under one firm condition: he would never officially adopt Jamie nor regard her as equal to his other children John, Lily and Mátyás. Beth agreed reluctantly agreed to these terms, prioritizing Jamie’s security over legal recognition.

    Early Life

Throughout her childhood, Jamie grew up in the Redmond household surrounded by wealth, structure, and expectation. However, she never personally experienced that wealth. Samuel regarded her as an unwanted obligation and did not consider her worthy of his time and money. Any money spent on Jamie came largely from an allowance Samuel provided to Beth, rather than from direct paternal support. As a result, Jamie wore lower-quality clothes, owned fewer personal items, and lived a noticeably more modest lifestyle compared to what her siblings, in reality her cousins, used to get. They had already left the household.

When Jamie entered primary school and later middle school, she struggled academically. Samuel refused to assist with her studies during these formative years, never clearly stating his reasons. His unwillingness to guide or support her fostered resentment in Jamie, and she began to grow increasingly rebellious toward him. Acts of defiance, both at home and in subtle ways at school became her way of responding to the emotional distance she felt. Samuel dealt with this behavior harshly, enforcing strict discipline and doubling down on his detached approach rather than offering understanding. In truth, his coldness stemmed from a discovery made during her early childhood: Jamie’s biological father was Dave Morrison, a scrapyard owner known for reckless behavior and the brother of Alexander Morrison, Samuel’s long-standing rival.

The family dynamic deteriorated further in 2016 after the death of Lily Redmond. Lily had been one of the few members of the household who treated Jamie as family, despite that she left the household and raised a son of her own, Victor Donovan. Her death deeply affected the entire household, but it hardened Samuel in particular.

    High School (2020-2024)

By the time Jamie entered high school, she began spending increasing amounts of time outside the Redmond home, often lingering in parks and on the streets rather than returning home immediately after school. She associated primarily with boys, adopting elements of their style and mannerisms. Her clothing shifted toward a tomboy aesthetic, loose shirts, hoodies, worn sneakers and she frequently skateboarded through local parks and public spaces. As she explored her identity during these years, Jamie found herself developing romantic and physical interests in both boys and girls, gradually recognizing that her attraction was not limited to one gender. Samuel regarded all this behavior as improper and unwomanly, interpreting it as further evidence of defiance and lack of discipline. Beth, while more understanding, grew increasingly worried about the direction Jamie’s life was taking.

Academically, Jamie’s performance declined further during high school. She neglected her studies, rarely applied herself, and showed little interest in structured achievement. Despite her lack of engagement and ongoing tension at home, she ultimately completed high school, though without distinction. This unknowingly resembled the behaviour of her biological father, Dave Morrison, which Samuel Redmond took a notice to.

    Leaving the Redmond household (2024)

Following her graduation, Samuel made it clear that his obligation toward Jamie had ended. He refused to finance any further education or vocational training, stating he was done caring and paying for her future. The declaration sparked a major argument between Samuel and Beth regarding Jamie’s immediate prospects. Once again, Beth threatened divorce in defense of her niece, but this time Samuel did not yield. Jamie was forced to leave the Redmond household with little more than a single duffle bag and her bicycle, without financial backing or a concrete plan.

For a period, Jamie found herself effectively homeless. She alternated between sleeping on the couches of acquaintances, staying in homeless shelters, and occasionally spending nights on the streets, which she became accustomed to. Determined not to return to her uncle-in-law under any circumstances, she searched for stable employment and eventually secured a low-paying position as a forklift operator at Alpha Mail located at Los Santos International Airport (LSIA).

After several months of disciplined saving, Jamie managed to secure a mortgage on a modest, low-end apartment in Vespucci Canals. Though financially strained and living paycheck to paycheck, the apartment represented independence. During this period, she developed coping habits that reflected both freedom and instability: moderate but frequent drinking, regular marijuana use, and a fondness for nights at the Vanilla Unicorn strip club.

Her visits to the Redmond estate became very rare, only once for Christmas in 2024. However, she attempted to maintain contact with Beth, who remained the only consistent emotional anchor in her life.

    Jamie in 2026

Following Christmas of 2025, Beth grew increasingly concerned after realizing she had not seen Jamie for over a year and was struggling to reach her. Through mutual acquaintances, Beth learned that Jamie was facing financial difficulties, including debt tied to her apartment mortgage. Fearing that Jamie was spiraling further into instability, Beth pleaded with Samuel to intervene and help her niece get back on track by offering her a better-paying position within his company. Beth had no understanding of the true nature of Samuel’s business dealings and was unaware of the criminal activities operating behind its legitimate front.

Samuel initially refused, insisting that Jamie’s struggles were the consequences of her own decisions. After days of persistent arguments and pressure from Beth, he finally relented. He instructed his assistant to contact Jamie and request her presence at his office in the Arcadius Business Center, without disclosing the purpose of the meeting.

Unaware of what awaited her, Jamie arrived dressed in her usual casual and tomboy attire. Samuel immediately took offense to her appearance, interpreting it as proof that she had not matured or changed. Despite his clear disapproval, he offered her a position within his company. The role involved assisting in the maintenance and setup of a new nightclub in La Mesa named "Galaxy," intended as a franchise expansion under Redmond Group.

Present at the meeting was Mátyás, Samuel’s legally adopted son. The encounter served as a brief and somewhat awkward reunion between the two, rekindling a sibling-like dynamic that had long been dormant. Following the meeting, Samuel instructed Mátyás to ensure Jamie acquired more professional work attire, specifically noting it should be appropriate for a woman. Mátyás took her to the high-end clothing store Ponsonbys, and during the drive the two caught up on each other’s lives, before selecting a black skirt, a fitted white blouse, and black pumps for her new role. Jamie felt visibly uncomfortable in the outfit, unused to such formal and traditionally feminine clothing. Mátyás reassured her, complimenting her appearance, and stating that she looked well-dressed and professional. In response, Jamie deflected with a suggestive remark masking her discomfort with humor.

After purchasing the attire and preparing for her new position, she worked alongside Mátyás to coordinate staff recruitment, acquire music equipment, and oversee logistical preparations. The nightclub "Galaxy" was successfully established in La Mesa, marking Jamie’s formal re-entry into the Redmond sphere of influence.
